Last Call Poker League

Major League Announcements From Alan Rush: Please Read & Share With All Your Poker Friends:

For the past month there have been a lot of rumors going on about the league closing, selling, moving nights, shutting down, etc. I’m here to set the record straight.

As of July 26th, 2015 Last Call Poker, LLC will be under new ownership. I hope everyone will join me in giving a huge welcome to your new owner, Blake Burris. Blake has played in our league for many years and has been a tournament director for just as long. He knows the rules of poker, the rules of the league and is a savvy business man who will help take this league to the level I have not had the time to do in recent months.

The quarter just ended on Thursday 7/23/15 and the annual tournament is still Saturday, August 1st, 2015 at Kavanaghs. Registration will be by 12:30 and cards in the air at 1:00 PM Sharp. This will be the last tournament ran by Alan Rush (unless helping out in a bind) so I hope everyone will come out and share your stories and memories. I will have all the quarterly qualifiers posted sometime by Monday July 27th.

Blake has already been on the ball and we have some venue, day and time changes. Starting Sunday July 26th, here is the new poker schedule:

Sundays – Nash Vegas (formerly Levi and Hanks) – 5:00 PM and 7:15 PM

Mondays – Nash Vegas (formerly Levi and Hanks) – 6:45 PM and 9:00 PM

Tuesdays – Kavanaghs – One deep stack (10K starting chips) game at 7:00 PM

Wednesdays – No games currently

Thursdays – Kavanaghs - One deep stack (10K starting chips) game at 7:00 PM

Fridays – Nash Vegas (formerly Levi and Hanks) - One deep stack (10K starting chips) game at 6:45 PM

Saturdays – Kavanaghs – Time(s) to be announced at quarterly tournament

I want to personally thank everyone who has participated in my league while I ran it. I want to show a huge amount of gratitude to the dozens of tournament directors that have ran games over the years. Without the tournament directors, this league doesn’t exist. I hope you all had a great time, enjoyed well run games and have made friends that will last a lifetime. I unfortunately just travel too much now for work to give this league the attention it needs. I am excited for Blake to take this league over and hope you will continue to support him and the league.

We will have more news posted soon with some new exciting promotions, but I wanted to clear the air so everyone knew the facts as to what was going on.

So let’s hear it for Blake and the new Last Call Poker League!
